Bullying can happen anywhere: face-to-face, by text messages or on the web. It is not limited by age, gender, or education level. Everyone can help prevent and stop bullying. As adults we have the responsibility to protect and be a role model for our kids, teens, and young adults. No matter who you are or who you represent, you can influence lives and maybe even save a life. Everyone needs to be aware not only about the warning signs and effects of bullying, but also about the ways to intervene and support both the person being bullied and the one bullying others.

Last week I came across a fellow photographer being ridiculously cyber bullied. Photographers from all over are posting awful things on her page! It breaks my heart to see "adults" acting in such a terrible way when our children and schools are trying to stop bullying everyday! We as adults should be setting an example not encouraging the bullying!! I have put together a giveaway! But not just any giveaway! This is a photographers against bullying giveaway that we will be hosting! I have contacted several amazing vendors all wanting to donate and help raise awareness against bullying!! We need to send a message that bullying is UNACCEPTABLE!!! And we as adults should NOT BE encouraging such a behavior!! Most of us (photographers, parents, human beings) have made mistakes some of them were small.. some huge! We know what its like. We should NOT be bullying other people for making mistakes.. Instead we should be encouraging them, educating them, and helping them learn from their mistakes!! We hope you will all join us in taking a stand against bullying and entering this contest!!!
